"I knew that anywhere I'd go, I'd have to compete on a day-to-day basis, so I don't worry about it,"

My favorite thing to hear a recruit say.

GO VOLS!!

I like this kid. Watched one of his videos from his sophomore year, he's tall and has great mechanics. throws the long ball really well, i can definitely see him starting for us one day. it'll be great to have a healthy QB competition, and hopefully dooley's recruitment of individuals with class will keep their ego's out, seems we've had a problem with that as of late.

Two things:

Is he going to be an EE? (SIAP) I love that he wants to dive right in and learn the playbook. And with his GPA I think he could be graduating early, just not sure.

And I don't put a lot of weight behind stars and rankings, but my gosh, how underrated is he with those amazing numbers. I mean 50 TDs in one year.

What kind of numbers is he going to put up this year???

I like the fact that he's been to 2 straight state titles and is aiming for a 3rd. The kid is a winner. Kind of reminds me of Peyton Manning ... just can't finish it off. :)

a lot of that is because of the system he plays in. not trying to be a downer but its the truth.

I agree. They throw the ball almost every play.

However, you still have to execute at a high level to put up those types of numbers.

I mean, he isn't playing against air.

If he can learn to be a complete QB and still execute at a high level he could be very special.

I think he has all the tools. You can't argue that at this point. It is just whether or not he can continue to develop.

We expect him to be bumped up to a 4 star after his senior season, given that he performs well and as expected. He doesn't play against air, but look how many pass attempts there are per game. He threw a ridiculous amount of passes last year and had an uncomfortable number of INTS.

If he can get the accuracy stat up a bit, up the TD's a bit, and lower the INTS a bit, we'll be looking at a great QB prospect.

I didn't realize Worley's offensive coordinator coached with Terry Joseph at Southwest Louisiana.

Most impressive.... 4.1 GPA??? That means that this kid did better than just straight A's, he exceeded 100% in some classes!

Smart, good work ethic, and disciplined. I like this kid. Impressive indeed.

No, it means he took AP classes. You get 5 points on a 4 point scale for an A in an AP class...

I don't think the int numbers are that bad. A 3-1 td/int ratio is considered acceptable, and I think his numbers are much better than that. If you throw 50 td's you are gonna have a few pics. Yes.

Wasn't Jonathan Hefney from Rock Hill too? One of our DB/S's was, just can't remember who and don't feel like looking it up on the bberry? Seems like the Rock Hill schools have put out at least a few D1 players.
