He is speaking to our K-8 school on Thursday.
I have bought 4 NCAA footballs for him to sign for the kids.
He was at the Youth Night at church last week and my son (HS Freshman) got to go on a scavenger hunt around town with him.
My son was 7 when LaTrell left to go to Knoxville. LB was his Vacation Bible School mentor that summer. He sees LaTrell as a role model and I approve strongly.
He is a reluctant local hero, but he is accepting a new role as facilitator for the kids in our county. I like that my son looks up to him.
He was a VOL for a very long time. He is the type of player a program can build a foundation with.
