At LSU-we played well enough to win
At the MCB vs NC we played well enough to win
UF at UT we played well enough to win
UGA game we played well enough to win
USC game we played well enough to win
MSU game we played well enough to win

Yesterday, look at the stats, we played well enough to win

With good coaching we would have been this years
Texas A&M.

Well. Enough said.

There's not really much to say honestly. With a couple good plays UT's season would be totally different.

Take yesterday for example, Missouri scored on a kickoff return, run of 77 yards, and a 25 yard touchdown on a 4th and 12. It was the big plays that kill UT. Not to mention you had a coach who made poor decision multiple times to lose the game.

Now we add Mizzou to the list of teams we could have Won if only our Defence didn't give up 1 oe 2 big plays and against Mizzou I think it was just 1 play that lost us the game on a big scoring play sadly.

We are so very close that's it's sickening.

Fla, Ga, MSU, SC and now Mizzou and all together just 10 big PLAYS lost by our Defence lost us all those games....just 10 damn PLAYS.

If our Defence was just a little better we would be the SEC East Champions with the O we have this year.

I'm so sick of being so very close and not getting the Win.

VFL...GBO!!!

I am a long-time Volunteer. My blood has run orange for decades. I absolutely support the University of Tennessee. I also support Coach Derek Dooley.

Dooley took over a team where the cupboard was virtually bare. Even the players that were on the roster when he arrived saw a lot of attrition from within those numbers. The timing was horrible. Had he taken over when Fulmer was fired, who knows that might have been. In general, the fans owe Dooley a lot of gratitude for stocking the roster and for stocking it with quality people. He is a good man.

It is time for Dooley to move on. He may or may not be able to ever coach a successful football program. He cannot do it at UT. The rift is too wide; the division too rampant; and the memories too new.

Dooley lost that game on purpose. I dont care what anyone says about how bad Palardy is you still try to win given the circumstances. Dooley is a liability to winning with his decisions.

How realistic is it that you can say we would be SEC East champions? We aren't anywhere close to that level. You are the same one that loves Dooley right? How's that working out for ya pal? Dooley's really blowing it out of the water! You are delusional!
