You guys shut us down in the first half. I thought we were in big trouble to be honest. I was more worried playing you guys than I will be against Vandy tomorrow. I think we'll win the whole thing now. We got past the scariest team tonight.

I thought the refs were extremely whistle happy too. But your team was at the line about as much when the game was in doubt. A ton of ticky tack fouls though, I will agree.

go away..the refs took a 5 point lead for us and gave you an 8 point lead...after that we cut it to 6 and you went on to win by 11....BYE

If you're going to say the refs won us the game then maybe you should become a Kentucky fan. There were PLENTY of phantom foul calls that put your guys on the line too.

For the record UT shot 25 free throws and UF shot 37. Not a huge difference considering UT was intentionally fouling late in the game to stop the clock. Certainly not the reason UF won the game.

Funny 12 free throws and you won by 11...shot 4 in the first half and were down 5...i am sure the refs didnt decide to call a much closer game in the 2nd half to keep the Gators in it...BYE DOUCHE

I don't know the exact numbers, but I'd be willing to bet when a team shoots 83% from the field in the second half they generally win.

I'd be willing to bet when a team shoots 33 FTs in the second half, they generally win as well.

A Florida fan is here to kindly tell us we had them scared in a basketball game. That says it all about what a bad season this has been, overall. Aside from recent superior tournament success, I wouldn't put the Gator program above ours. That's what's annoying about losing to UF in basketball. We want it more than they do, and they still beat us three times. Florida's consecutive championship teams was a run that probably won't be duplicated for a long time, but the small, sad-looking banners they hung is all one needs to know about how important basketball is in Gainesville in the big picture. I know, we're a football school too, but I've come to expect to beat Florida the majority of the time in basketball. If we can't do that, we're in trouble.

I think fans of opposing teams that beat us should always replace 'good game' with 'good half.' That would tell the familiar tale.
