Good game last week

Hey guys, I just wanted to congragulate you on a great win last week. Best of luck the rest of the season and please beat Bama. I hope somehow someway we can meet in the SEC championship game, but I am not too optimistic.

Thought Id share this with everyone. I went into work tuesday morning wearing a navy Vols hat...in orange lettering 'Tennessee Volunteers football''. The 10-15 guys I work with are all sooner fans save 1 whos a USC fan, as I walked down the hall they were all smiling at me, no they were smirking. You could see the looks on their faces none stayed up to see the 2nd half. Finally 1 says sarcastically..'well Dan, how'd ya like that game last night?'...I said it was great...Vols won 30-27'. The looks on all their faces were priceless....the same guy says 'they came back and won?!' I said yeah...it was great. The USC fan after about 30 seconds of silence said...'mustve been one hell of a halftime speech'. :toast:

When I went to work on Tuesday, the guidance counselor, who is a casual Vol fan, remarked about how terrible it was that the Vols lost so badly. When I told him the Vols pulled it out, he was AMAZED!!

I've got one worse than that. . . I called a friend of mine just as Wilhoit was coming in to kick the game tying FG. He had gone to bed at halftime and was dead asleep and had no earthly idea what was going on. The funny part was a few seconds later when he realized that his wife had NOT come to bed and was sitting downstairs watching the game. She was so mad at the way he acted in the first half, that she just let him sleep through the comeback just to spite him. :D

that was like me in school, they were all like "how about that game"

even my brother (who is a notre dame fan) said that.

Thanks for the congrats.

It just goes to show that all schools have some great fans to go along with the bottle throwers.

I'd love to meed LSU again in the SECCG.

The only thing that would be better than getting you guys again would be being able to beat Bama twice in one year.

They're looking might good though.
