That was a great performance by a good team, and a Great coach. Good luck Belmont,

On paper we are 20pts. better than them.
But games aren't played on paper.

Belmont season tickets are the best bargain in the Nashville area. Always entertaining high quality basketball.

That ain't no joke. I have been to a few of their games, and enjoy it much more than any Vandy game I have attended. Go Vols, and Go Bruins!:good!:

I echo the sentiment. I wish Belmont well the rest of the season. There was a reason that this game scared me when I saw our schedule. They are good enough anyway, but in-state teams are always out for some UT blood.

You Mean,

Vince Gill University:rock:

Or try Mike Curb University (of Curb Records, with about half the buildings on campus named after him)...:good!:

I agree about Belmont being a solid team. Many people look at the score and think "Tennessee only beat BELMONT by 2?" However, they have a very solid program and a great coach and class act in Rick Byrd. I am amazed that he hasn't moved on to a bigger program, but I guess that shows the loyalty that he has to Belmont. You don't find too many coaches like that anymore. I remember going to Rick Byrd basketball camps growing up and it is clear that he truly loves coaching basketball. Best of luck to the Bruins the rest of the season!
