The state of Hawaii frowns on college athletics. There was much outcry when Jones got that 900k raise, and now he may move on to U. of Houston, I hear.

But the fact they play the Pro Bowl in that dump amazes me.

Why not? Everyone else has 2 losses (except Kansas and OSU).

The season is screwed up anyway - no one team (even BCS winner) has a real argument for being #1.

Why not give UH a shot and really screw up the season!

I agree. There isn't a team out there with a legit gripe. 2 or 3 losses in any division and you have no real complaint. Why not give UH a chance? It at least makes it a lot more interesting. Does anyone really want to see a Georgia/ASU or Georgia/Mizzu game over this one? I doubt it.

just to give you an idea how much the state regards athletics, the Hawaii Bowl commercials on TV don't tout Boise St. vs ECU. It touts CUSA vs. WAC.....
