"Google must face Voice Assistant privacy lawsuit, U.S. judge says" https://www-nbcnews-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna1330?amp_gsa=1&amp_js_v=a6&usqp=mq331AQIKAGwASCAAgM=#amp_tf=From %1$s&aoh=16252579627348&csi=0&referrer=https://www.google.com&ampshare=https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/google-must-face-voice-assistant-privacy-lawsuit-us-judge-says-rcna1330

"In seeking a dismissal, Google said the plaintiffs failed to show they were harmed, or that it broke any contractual guarantees. “Google never promises that the Assistant will activate only when plaintiffs intend it to,” it said."

It's obvious these tech giants are preying on the public. They'll continue to do so with quid pro quo from the government. Until we decide enough is enough that is.

I think it'll end up being legislation that makes it illegal to sell data of users if I had to gamble on it. That'll stop alot of it. It'll force old fashioned marketing to return.

Lol, legislation is going to make it legal. They're too in bed to give up the power.

Didn't say it will happen soon. Just like bellsouth, it'll be changed eventually. Probably when competition gets stronger.
