The GOP has lost any credibility as the party of conservative economic policy. They outspend the Dems and don't even bother discussing boring deregulation again. They give immigration lip service, but do nothing.

Now it's the threat of gay kids in the same class as your kid, and the old stand by of book burning, driving the GOP bus.

I agree that the federal government has no business dictating school standards to the states.

I’m assuming that’s what you meant since you’re post has nothing to do with the bill.

It has to do with setting of priorities.

I mean, is there some massive epidemic of drag shows in the public schools we were completely unaware of until the GOP shed light on this urgent problem ?

Oh really. Were you this upset with the democrats when they rolled this out middle of last year? Still technically in a pandemic (according to Biden), 40 year high inflation, etc etc etc. and this is what they were working on?

No, you probably weren’t bothered in the least and I’m sure you didn’t start a thread whining about it. Stop lying to yourself. Maybe there was a time when you merely “leaned left”. Now you are a full blown progressive liberal. I’m sorry TDS is having such a dramatic impact on your worldview.

It’s cute he thinks it’s a GOP vs Dem issue. Both sides, the Uniparty, is against the people.

Your point of view was trendy 10-20 years ago. Now you just look out of date.

They shouldn't have bothered with that, either, I completely agree.

It’s called slight of hand. Both parties play it perfectly. Tell me how “conservative” any of the GOP members in both houses are? Same thing with Joe and his “maga” gaslighting. It’s all a way to confuse us plebs into hating each other and it’s working perfectly.

To my knowledge no, this is why the behemoth that is the federal government needs to be cut drastically. I’m glad we have found some common ground.

I agree.

And will add one more. Stop with the statement bills. This has zero chance in the Senate. They wasted a bunch of OUR time and money propping this up to fundraise when it has no possibility of adoption.

Both parties in Congress, serious legislation only.
