Richt has lately been complimenting Blake Barnes....then again, some UGA posters whom I respect on UGASports say Cox has the 'grit' to be our next starter.

There's always room for a Dawg in Big Orange Country....just as me personally speaking there better be room for a Vol in Dawg Country....especially since I'm living here.

I've got a huge Dawg fan that moved in just down the street from me. Normally this could cause a problem, but living in ACC country (NC) we have had to bond in an SEC kind of way. We are actually flying the plane down to the game in Athens this season. No, we are not going to sit together.

No telling when he starts. I say the he gets in the first game, shows out and starts in Columbia.

According the CMR the depth chart hasnt changed at all but according to comments made by him, other coaches and players the depth chart seems to be as follows
Blake Barnes
Matthew Stafford
Joe T
Joe Cox

Also reprots have been that we are implimenting some 4 and 5 wide receiver sets. If this is true it would confimr that Blake Barnes and Matthew Stafford are in the lead due to their arm strenght. The word is that the longer this goes on the worse it is for Joe T and if Cox isnt in the top three he will be looing for a new school very soon. Just speculation so take it for what its worth.

I've heard the same thing about Cox. He's downplaying it but you can't blame him for being in the long pecking order and not getting time. Oh the joys of stacking a team up on QB's.

excellent, excellent...qb contraversy brewing in Athens....


though it shouldn't be...i think most would agree that you have at least 2, maybe 3 qbs on roster that are better than Joe T III. I find it hard to believe that Stafford won't be the guy when it's all said and done....

At least your QB toss up has several backups. If one fails, you've got three other hungry guys wanting the job. One of them is bound to take off running with it.

The thing about Richt is ever week he changes and compliments a different QB.

I think he is making a circle about every QB

yeah, i don't think anyone is going to be over critical of Richt just yet...he's prove thus far to be a good coach, so until proven otherwise, he should be ok...
