Stallworth gets drunk and runs a man over, which kills him and serves 24 days in jail.

Plax Burress shoots himself by accident and gets 2 years.

How exactly can this be considered justice?

Ask the family of the man Stallworth killed. They and their wallets seem satisfied with the justice system.

Ask the DA in Miami, who's stated after reviewing a video that the deal Stallworth got was probably the best they could ask for.

The Stallworth deal is tough because there's just no way to know how much of a factor alcohol was. Plus running across a highway is never a real bright thing to do in the first place.

only the people that rob and kill can carry guns these days...people that try and protect theirselves are punished!I think that 2 years in prison for a man that had no intent on hurting anyone is just plain f stupid and the D.A. better get the death sentence for every low life murder in N.Y.

Stallworth's punishment sits fine with me, Plaxico's is way too severe, and I honestly think Vick should still be in prison!

An accident is completely different than ill and evil intent. Screw Vick!

Yeah. If it would have gone to trial, they would have lost money, and lost the case. They have to be fine with the situation, because they got the best possible senario (under the circumstances) possible.
I'm not saying that Stallworth wasn't in the wrong here, but laws like jaywalking exist to keep people safe.

Maybe Plaxico needed a better attorney....that was my first thought after the sentencing. Please note that I know nothing about law, much less New York law.

I guess his leg wasn't interested in settling out of court...

He got 23 months for stupidity and 30 days for carrying a gun.

Who else puts a loaded gun with no holster and the safety off down their pants?
