For Tennessee football, I think you'll be surprised by the quality of reporting in the now free online version of The Chattanooga Times Free Press[tfponline.com]. Once the season is under way, I'd put their depth of UT reporting up to par with that of the Knoxville paper.
And, as I said, it is now free so that's gotta make it better right?

Between the Volnation homepage and what you can read on the message board, I think it's pretty useless.

I am a member, and it is largely useless, and i won't be renewing...i find the same information at a bunch of different places on the net....

the only thing i do like on it is the John Pennington blogs, when he posts them anyway....

I feel the same way about it. This is my last year with them. This year has been especially useless considering that the coaches aren't talking.

I used to visit govols.com every single day until John Adams and Gary Lundy ( may he rest in peace ) ruined the site. John Adams used to have these idiotic columns about some "picks panel" of which his dog was a part. I never go there any more.

I think it is worth it for coverage during the season, but the recruiting coverage lags far behind other providers.
