I put a C- since rushing was quite great and special teams, nico had good moments of poise out of the pocket

Special teams did well. Offense looked Ok at best. Defense did the exact opposite of what we needed them to do. I knew we weren’t winning in Athens regardless. I’ve got deeper thoughts in this offense that I can hopefully get out there soon.

Arkansas played their best game against us. They had zero turnovers.

Georgia had 12 interceptions in the past 6 games leading up to today's game. They had zero turnovers tonight.

I gave a B-. We didn’t play great but it was a competitive game at UGA. Of course Beck decided to play decent football as soon as we come to town. It is what it is. We are very close to being on the same level as the very best teams in the country. Unfortunately we have a little bit more improving to do.

Try to steer clear of emotional voting and comments too

LOL, my dude, you can't post a "rate the team" poll fifteen seconds after a big game loss, and then come back with a "don't make emotional votes or comments" afterward. C'mon now. Who are you kidding?

Do you guys also feel a neyland game would have been a major change? Homefield advantage, refs less bias, less false starts, more confidence

Biggest thing was our D Line just couldn't get pressure and LB/DB's couldn't run with their TE's. Ballgame.

I haven't been emotional and urge more to be analytical, I'm not seeing many deviating here either from professionalism and quality analysis. This is the mecca for semantic, thematic discussion and objective breakdowns of college football. I'm excited to read your gameday conclusions and wish you well!

When you have 6+ seconds every play to throw the ball you'd be a heisman candidate too.

Bad UGA team did whatever they wanted to with us.
Remember this “bad” team beat Texas pretty soundly on the road and came within a whisper of beating Bama too.

Their backs were against the wall. It was only their 3rd home game. Kirby played the disrespect card and it worked. They were fired up.

I voted B-. Maybe a little too high, but the game was there to be able to win it for 3 quarters. We played much better on the road tonight than we have played in the past too on the road at night. Defensive line no pressure, but partly that was due to quick passing that was a TE wide open or great contested catches by UGA WRs.

Offense we were running well, but forcing the pass game in the 2nd half resulting in stalled drives. We weren’t even throwing deep shots. It was 5 yard passes we were trying to accomplish, and plenty of those weren’t open or resulted in sacks. Nico I think was locked in early, but UGA adjusted and Beck remembered he had the skill set to be elite. Oline ran really blocked well.

BVS - I felt like Beck would have a great game against us all week. But he had a better game than I even thought he would.

Exactly this. If I didn’t have self control I would be in my backyard burning every stitch of Orange I have alongside an effigy of both Heupel and Kirby Smart. I don’t know about anyone else but it’s been since 2022 USC that I’ve been this furious over a game.

Texas and Bama aren’t great teams either. There aren’t many of those this year.

Quality post, agreed about the defense.
