Tennessee came within a few yards and a few seconds of knocking off No. 6 Georgia on Saturday, but ultimately fell 34-31 to the Bulldogs in overtime.

Here are some position-by-position grades:

looks like a pretty fair assessment

Palardy has become the kicker we all knew he could be,will he be an All American this year ? he should be if he keeps it up

Palardy has done amazing, but he needs a shot at showing off his leg, give him a 50+ yarder without the place holders hand in the way.

Secondary: B-

Holding Murray to under 200 yards irrespective of injuries should be higher than a B-.

It's funny, when Murray struggle bc he has young WRs, it's bc he has young WRs...when Worley struggles due to the same reason, it's bc Worley sucks...

We saw what can happen saturday when the WRs actually step up and run correct routes and catch the ball...proves not all the blame should have been on Worley...

Pretty good assessment of the game.

It was a gutty performance by the players and coaches. Now they need to get a couple of W's under their belt.

It isn't necessarily because the WRs are young. Heck when the injuries mounted up we saw a lot more of Rantavious Wooten and Rhett McGowan. It has more to do with the receivers not being the guys you run practice with typically .. not your first teamers. Plus, there were three passes that went to Rhett and Brendan Douglas that would have converted easy third downs but they were dropped. It's part of the game but no one is blaming it on young WRs but WRs that don't see the field as much.

Well, I was actually trying to prove a point to my fellow VOL fans who lay all the blame on Worley, which is unfair...your guys may not be young in class age, but field time they were...so sorta same difference...

Murray has earned the benefit of the doubt, Worley hasn't.

No way all the blame should've been on Worley, but he's not throwing it at their feet anymore.

There was at least 1 time where he threw before the WR turned around. Things are clicking. I do see your point tho.
