I say fire Dooley now and make Jay the interim coach. The man has passion and and the players absolutely love him. I've seen their practice videos and he is constantly upbeat and yelling. Quit dragging this out. We are done with Dooley!

Palermo has HC experience. Granted he was 0-11 at Austin Peay 20 years ago.

Funny you say that, because I was thinking the same thing yesterday. Just let him be in charge of game management which he could not do worse than Dooley.

NO! "Interim" is the kiss of death. I would rather see him retained as part of a new staff. His opportunities will come. Now is not the time.

I thin Kippy Brown should be the interim. He would bring stability, calmness and demand respect where it is needed.................... Oh wait, that is what happened last time.......wasn't that just yesterday?

I'd rather us just let Dooley coach the last 2 games. He's gone at the end of the season. No reason to hurt the seniors by not giving them the best chance possible to go to a bowl game.

Screw Chaney. I'd rather see Bray calling the plays for our O and letting them do whatever it is they want the last 2 games and just raffle off the play calling for the D.

Announce firing/resignation of Dooley now, effective after last game of season - begin HC search now - New HC will begin first day following last game of season. This would be best for everyone involved, especially our seniors, recruits and their parents, and our recruiters.

Chaney likes being upstairs. I think he could do it but I don't think he would. I think it should be hinshaw. He is already on the sidelines and the team seems to respond well to him.

Definitely the route to go and best for all involved.

keep Pittman and Graham. that's it. It is a shame the offense was a total waste. It was one of the best o lines I have seen at UT since 2004 and looked better. Graham not the answer , but I am a huge fan

I don't want that loser of a coach on the sidelines anymore. The man gave up on the team. There was no need to let the clock run out with 3 timeouts and 40 seconds left. I guarantee you the entire offense was pissed at Dooley for not going for it. We have had 8 scores this year in 30 seconds or less. We have one of the best offensive lines in the country, plus receivers and a QB. Piss poor coaching

I have read all of Dooley's staff would be gone but Graham's contract had conditions in it whereby he stays if coach was fired.
