Great article for the haters here

Good article. I suppose the most important thing, and the only thing, that counts is that the selection committee feels the same way. Lots of basketball to be played and the Vols are just not what we had hoped they would be.

Anyone who knows what they're talking about will tell you that Tennessee is a pretty safe bet for the NCAA's. I just wish they could've gotten the win at Auburn. It would have allowed them to build a possible five or six game win streak.

Even after the Auburn loss, Tennessee is 20th in the RPI, with a SOS ranked 2nd

we need 5 more wins IMO to make it a lock...4 and we are on the bubble but we get in...
and we need to win an sec tourney game or 2.
I agree...people see the record and do not look at rpi, our strength of schedule will count for us even though most big games we have lost.

Most outsiders probably don't look into the loses to much and consider us a tourny team. I think we just overreact because as fans we kind of feel the sting from watching all the loses happen. I think we should have no problem getting in as long as we don't regress as a team.

I'm just having a hard time getting into the season because I don't see this team making any kind of push in the tournament. 1st or 2nd round team at best if they get in.

I just can't stomach the defeats because they can't do the little things. Grab a rebound and make free throws and you win Saturday. (Even though, if they were a team worthy of making a run in the tournament, grabbing a rebound with 12 seconds to go would have been a non-issue against Auburn.)
