I can understand some peoples view that America does need to come off to the international community as being less antagonistic. With that being said Obama seems to have taken that to the other extreme, it is pretty obvious that more than a couple of the "trouble nations" right now view Obama as weak, and Obama is lending credence to that perception by his actions.

I agree with the premise of the article...and I think what Obama is doing with bowing down to other world leaders and deriding America is absolutely the wrong approach. However, like the article said...Iran can now enrich uranium, and N. Korea is still launching missiles. It's not like the other approach worked either.

I don't know what the happy medium is, but I know it isn't Obama soft-line approach, and it isn't Bush hard-line approach.

The sooner, the better.

I honestly used to believe Obama to be a decent person who loved America in his own, government control way, but with each day, with each attack on us, I honestly think that he hates a lot of what America stands for. If he keeps this up, there's NO WAY he will get re-elected.

And they have every right to. If the U.S. was really an honest borkder in the region we would look at what they did, shrug our shoulders, and continue on our business.

I don't know that hate is the right word, perhaps contempt is better? His wife's statements about, "being proud of this country for the first time in her adult life" and "America is a downright mean country" do seem to fall in line with this mode of thinking. I can remember then how many Obama supporters defended those statements and told us who were critical of them that we were making a mountain out of a mole hill.

My biggest fear is that this will be the start of a much broader conflict in the region. If Israels neighbors take the opportunity to get involved it will punch our ticket into the fray. When that happens things will get rough here domestically, oil will skyrocket when our Arab suppliers are forced to cast their lot and choose a side.

I'm not arguing that they don't have the right. I think that they have every right to protect their interests against a group of lunatic mullahs / poobahs bent upon Israel's destruction.

The real question there is: are we the enablers for the Israeli military?

the fact is that hussein believes America is the world's problem. read his books, he give his insite on how bad of a nation we are. that's why he'll not defend the greatness of this country.

Lets see here, put us in a 3 trillion dollar hole. Wife says she's proud for the first time in her life of her country. Obama running all over the world saying i'm sorry we didn't kiss your butts, but i'm here now to make up for it. Making friends with country's that would like nothing more than to see america fall. Wow, how the hell do we get pelosi out of office so we can impeach this clown on the basis thats he really isn't american anyway. Sorry bad mistake, you can go back to chicago and live out the rest of your existance in a mosque somewhere. I've had enough of this guy already.

Bush spent way too much money....Obama and his bunch are opening up the flood gates and he has to sit to pee.....Doesn't look good for us right now. The world knows our leaders are little lambs and Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, and anyone who wants to stand up can attack us without fear of anything. Our government is afraid to blow some 2 bit pirates out of the water...why?

I couldn't have said that better myself. Mitt shows us just how easy it is to suddenly go Extreme Makeover GOP edition and people believe him. Good words but coming from him, I question it.
