Great breakdown of UT Purdue

Thanks for something useful for a change. I hope you read it carefully, especially the part about it being too early to draw conclusions based on early season results.

UT needs to work on a few plays for end of the game situations. I felt with it being a foul for all kinda game, Hopson or Smith should have drove the paint, nonetheless Chism had an open shot and missed it, I am proud that UT fought back down 6 with 2 min to go, they are a mentally tough team. Should not lose again until we match up with Mem. I expect this team to have one loss when Kansas comes a callin. GO VOLS!

If we play with the intensity of the Purdue game and make better decisions, we will have an excellent season.

The game was definately played at a high level,, too high for the refs I thought. Unfortunately we don't have the 3 point shooters we need if Hopson goes cold like he was that night. That will bite us at Tourney time.

The game was decided when Scotty and Tyler decided to go cold for most of the game. You only get so many 3 footers a game.

What's the big deal about beating Memphis? They have seven players. If the Vols don't beat Memphis there are serious problems with the season coming up.

I thought I would come and witness the epitome of irony, when I saw a thread opened by MHF that stated the words "good breakdown". Then I seen however, that he did not write it.

As for the article, it was a good read indeed.
