They came up a little bit short, but Travis Ford is really showing that he is going to be a capable coach in the not to distant future. This is the kind of coach that can pick up the pieces leftover from the Sutton era and take that school over the hump in years to come.

I liked State to win this one, but GT played well against a good D. My bracket is toast. Had New Mexico St. in the upset role, that was a close but no cigar games too.

The ouster of Travis Ford and his passel of scofflaw assistants from the tournament gave me great pleasure. I don't have a very high opinion of Travis himself, but it is my sincere belief that anyone who would willingly surround himself with some of the character-impaired evil minions that he has assembled as a staff will eventually crash into a karmic pit of dispair.

All I know is that he is one of the most annoying coaches to watch on the sideline. He reminds me of a pacing troll.
