I want to first thank Jaybird 1981, Doozer and Bayou Vol. They directed our group to the Methodist Church parking lot on Cumberland. We were on the corner set up closest to the road and gates. Arrived at 5:30, set up DJ system and started cooking. Menu went as planned, seafood gumbo, deer meat sauce-pi-caunte, fired gator, fried soft shell crabs and fried shrimp burgers. We even had a few of our friends play live Cajun music for a short period.

We fed about 125-150 people, many of them were Tenn fans. We had a great time with them all. Our entire group stated that Tenn fans were beyond friendly both before the game and after the game. I know all schools have there few jackass’s, but I can say I was fortunate enough not to run into one single one.

Just wanted you to know that all the fans we ran into represented your school very well.

Glad to hear that, I had pleasant experiences with all the LSU fans I ran into as well.

LSU fans cook the best food around. the guys near us did a shrimp boil that was amazing.

they were as equally impressed with our pork loins and moonshine.

:good!:

i was the big 6'4" 280 lb Tenn fan that came down and hung with you guys for a bit. Loved hearing the live music with that (excuse the spelling) Mawmou Air Compressor. Had a great time with you guys, Shrimp burgers were un-real. Was even true to my bet and came back down after the game wearing the LSU hat. Was hard to do, but it will be ok, will shave head tomorrow to remove all of the funk from it.

alabamavolunteer,

I do remember you coming by and i do give you props, you did come back after the game. Actually quite a few Tenn fans passed back by if even for just a minute, all to wish us a safe ride back. As i said earlier, thanks to all of your fans that made the trip so enjoyable.
