1999 vs uga. Wife's first game in Neyland. The rain drove a lot of people away. Bought two tickets off a guy and he wanted $60 for the pair. Gave him the money and walked away. He called me back, gave me $20 and said buy your girl a coke. Then watched our defense put Quincy Carter on his arse all game long.

The SC game when we came out in black. I don't know if i've ever heard a place louder than when the team ran through the T in black it was awesome.

There was light rain through almost all of the 1996 Citrus Bowl., against Ohio State. Seemed as if everybody thought Tennessee would lose. We had ponchos but got soaked anyway. There was a tremendous defensive battle, and Jay Graham broke a long run in the second quarter. Peyton got the team in position for a couple of Hall field goals to win the game.

Was at that game. Luckily I saw sitting in the lower part like row 50 something so we didn't have to leave our seats. I still believe if it wasn't for the rain delay it would have been a great game. OR didn't know what hit them. Sadly they got an hour to regroup and then came to play

I remember a game against Auburn. We were up 21-0 at the half. It rained so hard in the second half that Tennessee wouldn't even run a play. Auburn would run three plays and kick. Tennessee simply kicked it back without running a play. Auburn would run three and kick. We just kicked it back.

Same here. I was in the last row of seats in the lower bowl, which normally would've horrible seats but for that game it worked out well.
