great season, I feel its one of their better seasons when you think about everything they had to go through this season..... anyways, great job and time for a national championship in 07!!

That was another fun ride to go on. :toast: Here's hoping for a title run in 2007.

I'm so proud of my girls. Even when they were not given the number one seed they most definitely deserved, along with being put in the overall #1 seed's bracket, they played their hearts out.

What a great four years Shanna and Tye'sha gave us.

I'm very proud of the Lady Vols. I commend all of the players for their hard work and effort. Good job ladies! :rock:

Great season. Overachieving, if you ask me (no surprise -- thanks Pat!).

Mark this down: Parker will break/shatter nearly all of the NCAA women's records before she's through. Yes: mistakes tonight. But, she's VERY young, and talent like hers is a freak of nature. The Lady Vols will be VERY exciting for a good while.

Maybe a bad post here, but does anyone else think we would have won this game tonight and went on to win the NC if we still had Wiley-Gatewood?

Her quickness, defense, and overall ability to control tempo would have certainly helped tonight...

We just don't have the quickness and ball handling ability at Guard to win it all. We did the best we could considering Hornbuckle's limitations withg her injury. A strong floor leader on the point will make us a completely different (much better) team and raise everyones confidence and abilities. We were better than NC everywhere except Guard. Next year with Hornbuckle at 100% and and perhaps incoming Freshman, Cait McMahan, who looks to be a super-quick diminutive ball handler, we can once again place fear into opposing teams.

Yes, an outstanding year! Think about what we've accomplished: Candace dunks it not once, but twice in one game! Bravo! :clapping:
I'll miss Shanna and Tye'Sha though. I hate it that they've never won a national championship title.

Yep we were beaten in every aspect of the game by a better NC squad. Good year for all the team had to go through though.

Yeah they had a great season this year & Candice will lead them to a national championship! :rock:

Yea, I hated to see it end for Shanna!!! But there was no defense at all!!!! The last minute they decided to turn it up and actually stay on them but by then it was way too late!!

Maybe next year!!!!!

If there's one constant with the women's tourney it's the LV. They will always be there and must always be considered a threat to win it all.

Great season and it was fun to watch. I got to see more of their games on TV than the men!

Here's to the LV's for being so successful and at least looking like women while doing it. (I mean have you seen some of the other "girls" out there :crazy: )
