Well, hearing JHunter reaffirm his pledge to UT and hearing ELofton commit to UT sure got this weekend going. And NEITHER of these kids was on campus this weekend. Who can predict the next VOL recruit to pledge to UT????

will it be somebody on campus this wknd? Sunday nights are usually exciting....hmmm....

Yes, plus I doubt Rogers was ever really considering UT. Just trying to get his boy some recognition...

auburn already has 28 committs and they are saying that lattimore ,lemonier,and jeffery whitiker plus more they have a top 5 class ,and they want more ,i hope we can get lemonier and his teamate smith,also auburn has 5 star rb dyer and 5 star lattimore and 5 star seastruck have them high on list.if ambles goes to usc i hope he plays like the wr that committed to ut then signed with georgia and layed against ut and lost his redshirt and never got in another game,i would also like to turn dar rodgers 5 star committed to uga and also get green and tori wilson or another oline prospect we were after maby robinson ambles could come back we have a coach who fits ut better and i believe is better than our last coach was all bark the assistants was his bite, dooley will be chewing them up and spiting them out in 3 or 4 years

Seeing as how the Vols don't play AU every year, I'm not all that concerned about thier class. Perhaps, the better AU recruits the sooner Saban leaves.

Yeah, but I hope we get some top assistants too. BUT, you are right I believe, Dooley the coach probably does have more substance than Kiffin.

With all those commits I wonder can Chizik develop those players.We all saw what happen to Ron Zook he could recruit but he could not coach.And CUM won the 06 champ with Zook players.

Just for conversation only, what kind of recruiting class does CDD put together vs the class CLK would have put together? What ranking would/will each perspective class have and what is the main difference in the two?

CLK would have most likely had a top 5 maybe top 3 class. I see no way that anyone could pass florida, but i would not have been suprised to see us take 2nd. CDD probably wont get us in the top 10 unless we keep ambles, rogers signs with us, and we pick up chaz green and james stone. i dont see all of that happening, so id say we are going to probably end up top 20 maybe top 15 if we are lucky.

not really sure where New Castle is in relation to Evansville though.

i dont understand how we are 12th on one site and 24th on the other. normally i go with rivals, but to be honest, id say scout seems more accurate on this one.

Thanks for your perspective. I feel that with CLK we finish 3-5, and with CDD we finish 8-10. If we do finish inside the top 10 this year, that would be consider an incredible accomplishment. Kudos to the staff! Encourages me for future classes.

New Castle is about 30-40 miles east of indy. Go colts!
