George Carlin gets my vote. Richard Pryor is up there too. I think Louis CK is the fastest rising right now.

People like Dane Cook and Kevin Hart are garbage IMO.

Great list. Just watched a comedy round table on Netflix with Chris Rock, Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller, and Bill Hader. They were asked who the best stand-up comics and they named those 3 and added Sam Kinnison.
