He's pretty idiotic for letting himself be seen at a baseball game while already getting heat for the oil spill.
If it's any consolation to the residents of the Gulf of Mexico, BP CEO Tony Hayward didn't win the yacht race he attended this weekend. His 52-foot yacht, named "Bob," finished fourth in its class.
Nonetheless, the decision by Hayward to return to England to attend JP Morgan's annual race around the Isle of Wight is the latest "PR gaffe" by the head of the oil giant blamed for the largest environmental disaster in U.S. history.
"I think we can all conclude that Tony Hayward is not going to have a second career in PR consulting,"
Wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and a White Sox cap, Obama sat in a private box a few levels up behind home plate on a warm and pleasantly non-muggy night for Washington in June.
He was seen sipping a beer, laughing and pointing out to his daughters things happening on the field. Sen. Kent Conrad, D-N.D., was also spotted in the box for the sold-out game.

Rahm Emanuel says this in response:
Ironically, Rahm Emanuel proceeds to let President Obama kick off Father's Day weekend by attending a Chicago White Sox game on a warm and pleasantly non-muggy night for Washington in June.

I'm with you. Why would the WH take a shot at Tony when BO has taken a couple vacations and played numerous rounds of golf after declaring that they have be in control since day 1?
As I understand it, Tony baby is no longer in charge of day to day ops for this.
Let the public criticize the dude - when the WH does it they open the door to similar criticisms.
Exactly. Personally, I think it's baffling that both the CEO of BP and the POTUS would be taking these leisure trips, all the while both of their jobs greatly depend on this disaster. Neither of them might not be able to do anything at this point, but to the general public, they are in command - and they're out enjoying vacations. Absolutely stupid if you worry about image, IMO.
I figured Rahm Emanuel to be smarter when handling one of these catastrophes.
