Sorry if it's already posted somewhere, but I saw a report that McElroy is leaving the SEC Network to join ESPN. What a shame, he was a great analyst and it won't be the same without him.

Money talks I guess.

Not surprised at all. GMac is really awesome behind the desk. It was only a matter of time before he got called up to the national stage.

I agree with this. Loved watching/listening to him on the SEC network. He'll continue to do well at the mothership.

They said he'll still do SEC Now takes throughout the week on the network. I guess he'll still have some sort of affiliation since it is partnered with ESPN.

Greg's leaving the SEC Network to work with ESPN. Sounds like one short walk.

What sucks is we still have Timmy. Mac was a great replacement for Timmy when he tried his second stint in the league. Too bad Timmy came back.

Well that sucks. One of the few analysts I actually enjoy listening to. He is one of the most fair to TN as well. Hopefully he can improve the cess pool that is ESPN.

McElroy is the next Kirk Herbstreit. He's really good. I think he did color commentary for our game vs Mizzou and was an absolute pro.
