No word on their condition but they were taken to an area hospital.

An Ohio State spokesman confirmed that Greg Schiano was involved in a car accident on Thursday morning and struck a bicyclist. The crash is still under investigation and the bicyclist was taken to a nearby hospital for a head injury, but the Columbus Dispatch reported he is in stable condition. Schiano, in his first season as the co-defensive coordinator for the Buckeyes, was able to work on Thursday after the incident in the morning.

There are tons of cyclists in Columbus and around OSU. He must have been asleep at the wheel

Where's the joke here that I'm not getting?

I assume he was referring to the way players said Schiano treated them with Tampa Bay Bucs. But I'm not sure seemed odd as I didn't read anything about a punch in that link.

Yeah, I read the article looking for something, too. Had no idea Schiano had been accused of treating players poorly. Just assumed it was a dig at cyclists like I usually see...

Wasnt it Rutgers players -- I doubt he could do that to pro players without getting his @ss kicked

Knowing Urban Meyer, it will probably turn out that this was a reporter who got on his bad side.

Greg Schiano: college football hit man.

Never understood people who bike on the road.. never thought it was worth the risk

Have been a 100% cyclist since 1012. Haven't driven a car in town since then. I ride on the streets. It's not all that bad. I get people that yell at me, maybe once a week. That's about it. What's there to risk? If drivers pay attention, it's fun and healthy to bike everywhere....

It must have been difficult sharing the road when oxen were domesticated. I bet that chariot drivers had some serious road rage too.
