About Frank Gore:

"We've got to do everything in the world to make sure we kill Frank Gore's head. We want him running sideways. We want his head sideways."

About Kendall Hunter:

"Little 32, we're going to knock the f--- out of him. He has no idea what he's in for"

About Alex Smith:

"Every single one of you, before you get off the pile, affect the head. Early, affect the head. Continue, touch and hit the head."

About Kyle Williams:

"We need to find out in the first two series of the game, that little wide receiver, No. 10, about his concussion. We need to f------ put a lick on him right now. He needs to decide. He needs to f------ decide."

About Vernon Davis:

"We need to decide how many times we can bull rush and and we can f------ put Vernon Davis' ankles over the pile."

About Michael Crabtree:

"We need to decide whether Crabtree wants to be a fake-ass prima donna, or he wants to be a tough guy. We need to find out. He becomes human when we f------ take out that outside ACL."

Only problem I have with what he said is when he's talking about taking out Crabtree's ACL.

Nope, it's no different than someone coming back from any kind of injury the first few series the opposing team is gonna test you and see if your fully healthy and/or see if you can handel it. It doesn't sound pretty but it's the truth.

There's a difference between telling your guys to hit hard and telling your guys to "affect the head" and do things in the pile.

Just flat out impossible to defend. I don't mind a coach saying with expletives that you want your team to hit hard, and even to an extent to try to "expose" a player with an injury to limit him. But the talk about hitting/affecting the head every play changes the context for me. It changes it in Williams/Crabtree's quotes to mean that he wants his players to not just "limit" the players with an injury history, but to hopefully get them carted off with a re-injury.

Embarrassed that he ever coached the Titans.

Sapp reacted to the take-Crabtree's-knee-out comment by saying he would've walked out right then and there.

Do you think Chad Clifton believes that?

Kenny Williams said its best that they're never in the same room. Don't blame him.

All these analyst are able to say whatever they think they will do without being in the situation. What would u do if you played linebacker for the saints, and Gregg Williams tells you to take him out or you're homeless? Would u take him out, or would you not take him out and lose your job?

First of all, Ken Williams is the White Sox GM and Kyle Williams father so he's not some analyst popping off.

Secondly, I want you to name a player that Gregg Williams got rid of because he didn't take an opposing player out. You do realize that it's possible to make a great play without maiming your opponent right? I think that the most important thing is winning the game, not getting an extra $1000 dollars for hit-sticking a defenseless wideout.
