Did anyone hear Griff this morning on the Monster talking about the baseball program? He actually said that all you need to know about Tennessee Baseball is that they are behind Vandy. That is why he doesn't care or cover the baseball team. Seriously?? I do not think he understands that We are also behind them in basketball but nothing was said there. He also said that there would be no way he would go sit and watch the product on the field that long. Why would someone that backs the University actually put the baseball team down like that and actually do harm to possible individuals thinking about going to a game. IMO that was one of the most idiotic things you can say.

He obviously knows nothing about college baseball because Vandy baseball just had 11 players drafted in last years class and brought in the top ranked recruiting class in the nation last year so being behind them isn't exactly an embarrassment. When Serrano turns the program around then he will b trying to act like he's always been a supporter. Idk y ppl listen to most of the knoxville media

Griff knows his stuff since he's the Spurrier of girls softball.

and he is in no way a UT backer (and would probably tell you so). He's simply become what all Knox media has- a click whore

Nashville and Knoxville sports media sucks so bad. Hubbs and Ruker is about all I can stomach.

He doesn't back UT, he is a reporter that covers them. Maybe not well and maybe not to our liking however.

He also said the Vols would lose to the gators by 20?? Example of his vast knowledge and insight. All about ratings for their show, helps to get a rise from fans and stir up contreversy. JMO

It's well established that Griff is an idiot. He is not smart enough to follow baseball.
The only way to get rid of these a$$holes is to quit listening to them. I don't buy the paper. I don't pay for sites. I don't listen to the Sports animal. If nobody listens or buys their product, they will cease to exist!

If that is what he said, then he's a complete idiot. Isn't this guy a Fulmer and Pearl homer? Not to mention maybe if realized who the coach was the past 4 seasons he'd understand why UT baseball is down.

Don't like him at all but he said that he doesn't like baseball and that probably has alot to do with why he is bashing it. Also he covered baseball at auburn and Alabama so id say he know a little about it. Also said that the university hurt the program by not updating the facilities sooner.

You lost me when you said "Griff." Folks that seriously listen to what he has to say need to find something else to do with their lives.

This baseball team will win at least 10 more games than last year's version simply on attitude alone. CDS and staff will bring out the best in what he has to work with. Give him two more years to recruit and coach up and they will be in the WS.

Could be wrong, but I believe that Serrano became like the first coach in about 100yrs to start off at UT 4-0? Did Rawley win 4 games last year?

He covers UT basketball and doesn't know much about it either.

Good, I hope he doesn't cover baseball. Less morons covering the team, the better.

Griff is the worst in knoxville. He doesnt know s*$% about any sport and whines all the time. I dont agree with anything he says. I dont care if he is a ut backer or not. Fans arent suppose to agree with reporters all the time but that doesnt give them the right to be an idiot. I dont agree with half the stuff adams puts out, but i like reading it. He is creative and has a dry sense of humor like myself. Not sure how griff is still employeed.
