Griffey can do whatever he wants to do in my book...all-time favorite player, hands down.

I'm just surprised he's still on the team. I played his super nintendo game when I was in like fifth grade.

^ Roids, blah blah blah.

Not saying he's the best ever, but also my personal fav. Got to see him in the King Dome back in the glory days taking on the White Sox and trading homers with Frank Thomas.

Griffey was a great ballplayer, but never the player Bonds was. How does Griffey avoid the roids label, btw?

Never had the prototypical "roid body". And was never even hinted about by guys like Canseco IIRC. I would only be a little surprised if he did.

But tons of guys avoided the 'roid body, but the vast majority was involved. Rafael Palmeiro is a prime example. Benefitted greatly, but never looked the part.

Griffey's drop off was enormous when he did fade. I know he had injuries, but those are 'roid hallmarks too.

Griffey is my all time favorite baseball player. Happens to the best of us, Ken. Try a 5 hour energy next time

I agree with this. Although I refuse to believe The Kid did roids the injury thing is very interesting...

As stated, roids keep you from injury and help you to heal up and play through them...as soon as Griffey got to Cincy he could never stay healthy, very frustrating as a Reds fan...

If he was to have used steroids it would have came out, just look at all the HOF type players that have been caught, guys like Griffey will be the first to be implicated.

He was clean.

Don't buy it, but he did suck for much of the tail end of the roids era.
