Sounds like this is going to happen. If so, great hire for Arkansas.

Appears Grobe may go to Arkansas. I think this would be a great move for Arky.

I'm just playin' around.

But that's a great hire by Arkansas if it is true...

Makes me sad. I wanted this to be a total debacle like the basketball search... If they had ended up with Tommy Bowden I would have been ecstatic.

Agreed -- I think Grobe is a better hire than Bowden would've been. We'll see if he can hack it in the SEC. He's done a good job with not much at Wake.

He's leaving Wake to go back to Wake---he got a nice bump in cash.

this should be a good hire for Ark. Grobe isn't flashy, but he's a good coach.

Dang! i like wake! and he made a really strong program there...
he can really utilize talent.. so, it seems like Arky is going to be REALLY good soon

I think Arky fans are going to realize they made a mistake when they ran Nutt out of town. Arky is not a hotbed for talent and Nutt did a better job than anyone would have thought he could do with that program. 8-4/9-3 seasons and a SECCG birth every so often is pretty good for a top 5/6 SEC school....I think they fade down to 7-5/6-6 teams now and trade positions with Miss-St...Nutt will beat the breaks off them with the Rebels next year to....

Wow...Arky is going to be left with no-one to take them.....Then they will probably give it Gus Mazalohn and watch him fail miserably...

Why would you want to go there when you know how the fan's are.....They absolutely ran Nutt out of town and he was producing winning season's.....I wouldn't want to fool with it either, ACC sucks and his chances are better there...

Grobe would've been a good coach, but I don't think Arky will find anyone that will recruit much better than Nutt.

If I was a Hog fan , I would have had his rear headed out of town too. Nutt is a nut. Who in their right minds would want a guy like that representing their school (sorry Ole Miss).

Atrocious hire. Arkansas will be in the West basement within two years. Good to see Frank Broyles is ruining everything on his way out the door.
