sorry, i have no link. Just hear say. I was told he(gruden)was rounding up a staff. Just wondered if any of the "insiders" on here had heard about the contact between martin and gruden? I just wondered if it was true. :popcorn:

I've met Tee. Had conversations on a couple of occasions. Love the guy. Super chill. But not at all charismatic.

I've never coached. Maybe he's awesome.

please don't flame me for this post. I just heard this from a friend that keeps up with all this crap on other sites. He had read this somewhere. I'm just hoping it's true, and that someone on here had heard it too.:peace2:

terrible thread man...thats like me saying I "heard" this from someone's cousin's who is friends with my gf aunt who works close with so and so...thing is Tee Martin's wife loves LA she is a former singer and we all know a happy wife is a happy life

If Jon Gruden becomes our coach, I would give him a kidney if he ever needed one. He'd be like my favorite person of the year....but for like all-time.

So why start a thread? Why not just post up this hearsay as a comment in another thread?

Well in the Monday night game when Berry made a great play by knocking a pass down in the edzone...Gruden said "what a play by Berry from the TN volunteers!" I don't think he would say something like that if he were not coming to TN to coach...he woud have at least left out the Volunteers part and just said TN. Plus the way he said it with excitement in his voice means he was letting recruits and coaches know he was VFL.

Sarcasm.

Gruden will not be our next coach

I read something like this on the CBS sports web site a couple of days ago. Did not see anything about Tee only that there was speculation that Gruden was thinking about a potiential staff if he went to the NFL, the article said probably Philly would be his choice. But again just another one of the speculation articles.

Wrong he has in his contract Tennessee and notre dame. In April in a interview with the sports animal he said Tennessee was one of the best jobs in football including the NFL.
