Gruden to Eagles appears more likely

Everytime I type "Jon Gruden news" into my google or bing search bar, the majority of links that pop up are about the Philadelphia Eagles. It seems that links detailing rumors about Gruden taking the job on Rocky Top have disapeared since the Eagles loss on MNF last week...I'm not a big believer in firing a coach before the season is over, but I really hope that (if there truly is an opportunity) UT isn't missing their chance at Chucky by dragging on the termination. If the Eagles have this same type of mentality, we will still be ahead in the Gruden race because the NCAA season finishes first.

more likely than what? him doing anything at all is more likely than him coaching UT...
it never was going to, or never will happen.

Google told me to slap you. :)

Hart and the money backing UT, is keeping everyone in the dark about whats going to happen. This is a business transaction and when people are keeping tight lipped in business it's usually due to price/money negotiations.
At least this is what I suspect. It could also just mean Hart and Co. don't have a d.amn clue.

I know Watson Brown is having a bad year, but I am surprised Jon Gruden would want to live in Cookeville.

I don't think the Eagles need a new HC. They need to draft themselves a marquee QB, and make Vick the backup and special package QB.

Gruden fell short at Tampa because he didn't have one...so hiring him will not change anything. Vick had a good first year or so, but he, like Vince Young, has regressed. There are quite a few good ones to choose from, so they should be patient.
