Said it before and I'll say it again.. Gruden is a FOOL if he leaves MNF. He makes 6 figures PER MNF BROADCAST .. DO THE MATH. Why anyone would take a paycut from a cushy job with high job security to a job like USC, Tennessee, Dallas, or anyone that has little job security is beyond me..

Gruden will continue to be mentioned for all big-time openings I'm sure.

He'd better not go to another college program though, that would be very non-VFL IMO.

Now that my orange-colored glasses are remove I don't know why he'd ever give up his current gig.

100% agree. I was wearing my Gruden goggles last year, but can't see him leaving MNF. Although the Cowboys would be interesting...if he could strangle some control out of JJ's hands (not likely).

At this point, I'd be upset to see him leave MNF. It will be hard to find someone better.

Pretty hard to get fired doing a TV gig. No pressure, big paychecks and stress-free. Gruden isn't going anywhere.

He would be a rock star on the recruiting trail...He would get some of the top players in the country to play for him anywhere he goes...I mean seriously, Who wouldn't?...That being said he would be a fool to leave MNF...He makes more there than at any college coaching job would pay him.

This is the biggest draw for me wanting Gruden but the way Coach Jones and staff are getting after it, I ain't even mad.

I think he's holding out for the Tennessee job.

Butthurt would be epic. First USC were responsible for hiring Kiffin and leaving us with Dools, then Gruden goes to USC?

Talk about destroyed VN egos.

Anything to get him off of MNF is good to me, I have never really got the Chucky thing.

I don't give a flying f*** about Gruden. I hope USC gets him because it is highly unlikely he will be successful as a college coach. There is just way too much year round work as a college head coach. Not to mention all of the BS shmoozing of the freaking boosters etc... Pro coaches typically (not always) do poorly in the college ranks and vice versa.
