I actually wish this was an April fools thread. The thought that people like this are shaping the future of America is scary and wrong.

Addressing Adm. Robert Willard, who commands the Navy's Pacific Fleet, Johnson made a tippy motion with his hands and said sternly, "My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize."

Rep. Hank Johnson: Guam could 'tip over and capsize'

there's also a vid on the page so you can see him actually demonstrate with hand gestures so there's no misunderstanding

I'd like to gradulate Hank. Perhaps Tebow and Corch Meyer can visit Guam with him before it goes tippy.

I would like to commend the Adm on his control when answering the question though. How he didn't just bust out laughing is beyond me

Those senior military folks are strong in decorum, unlike the idiots they're answering to. Barbara Boxer needed her head rearranged when babbling about what she has earned after being called ma'am.

on the other hand, the Census gave no indication of the condition of Guamanian's junk - Tebow may or may not be helpful there.

You probably wouldn't be shocked at the crap I hear from college geography students, but you would be depressed.

You speak of buffoons, Barabara Boxer is certainly one.

The military man she was trying to embarrass was following military protocol to call her ma'am, to refer to her as senator was a sign of disrespect, but that's what she wanted, so that's what she got.

As for the people of Guam, I served with a couple of them and have the greatest respect for them.

So does this top John Lewis's claim that sharks still swim the Atlantic shipping routes slave ships took waiting for bodies to be thrown over?

but, does it top candidate Obama's claim of visiting 56 states with one more to go?

I think that this definitely tops that as well. At least Obama's math works out that he meant to say 47 states, and not 57, with one more to go. Still great material on the campaign trail, but it seemed to be a slip.

This piece of genius was a (il)logically deduced train wreck.
