I go somewhere between 50 and 55 K actual attendance.

Iowa and UT both travel pretty well so that helps, but basically this bowl is an afterthought. 1 PM on New Years Day the the curse of death in terms of national interest.

There will be at least 4 people at the game (2 announcers, my wife and I) and a few camera men so maybe 7 people at the game. Do the players for each team count in the attendance number? they will attend the game.

I never see bowls actually sell out unless it’s NY6/playoffs. And even then, it depends which venue. The Orange Bowl last year did not look like a sellout. There’s always a ton of empty seats in the upper decks of these games.
