IMO thats not a bad thing. They saw the small arms fire version, we are bringing the artillery.

Bama’s #1 defensive objective will be to shut down the run game. How well we do offensively will be depend on how well we can move the ball on the ground. We will need Nico’s legs in this one.

Sure but thats not news. Everyone has issues with the offense. The fact they got some free scout team snaps is not a good thing for us. Will it make a difference? Who knows. Maybe we see something on tape to exploit but I think it s more likely the other way.. their players got a dress rehearsal in that pace and the fact they had issues with it means players are gonna be aware and not sleep on it. They know we will be bigger faster stronger.

Alabama is playing a lot of guys that have never seen this offense and some that, even worse, saw the diet version last season. Now they are all on Alert. 14 members of Bama's 2 deep on defense are either freshmen or transfers. Only 8 on their 2 deep were around for the Hooker version.

Yes to all that mainly the tempo. They have the same types of reads and splits as UT their big difference in they normally run 2x2 (2 Wr each side) instead of 3WR 1 TE. They use the run to set up the pass. The only real difference is a few wrinkles and of course the level of personnel. USF is UT south right now. Watch the Bama game and say it ain't so.
