So let me get this straight, democrats want to punish
law abiding Americans and impede on Second
Amendment rights with new legislation "to prevent gun
trafficking to Mexico," however, aren't willing to focus
on the ATF and DOJ's role in deliberately putting high
powered firearms into the hands of criminals including
Mexican drug cartels?

It doesn't matter how many gun control laws we have
on the books if the federal government is willing to
break them to push a political agenda, however, this is not surprising.

I haven't read the proposed legislation, but I'm not really sure why they would even bother trying this unless they're trying to find another excuse to blame Republicans for not cooperating with them or something like that.

The legislation is ridiculousness; yet, it is an extremely sly move in light of the moral indignation and outrage being expressed by the GOP regarding Gunrunner. This legislation effectively cuts the moral legs out of the GOP stance and makes it rest squarely on legal grounds: grounds that may or may not be proven in court and are a lot less enticing to the masses.

Next non sequitur the libtards will present is that
gunrunner was started under Bush.

The difference being that several unscrupulous gun
runners were caught and prosecuted, that was the
purpose of the Gunrunner program.

Obama, Holder and Clinton have perverted the purpose
of the Gunrunner program.

After the Obama regime began to have control, Holder
and Clinton initiated other programs such as 'fast and
furious' in Phoenix and 'castaways' in Tampa and an
as yet unamed operation in Houston that supplied 150%
of the guns known to have been associated with 'fast
and furious.'

The lid hasn't been blown on the Houston operation
yet and we don't know if there were other, so far undiscovered, operations going on in other locations.

What we are witnessing, including the criminally stupid
fast and furious and castaways plus the democrat
proposed legislation, could be part of an even bigger
plan, read on:

It is said, when one can find a non sequitur, one can
find a lie and when one finds a lie, there is most likely
a liar lurking nearby.

The Democrats know they can't get this passed in the
house but yeah, they are creating a straw man argument
but to say that cuts the moral legs out from under the
Republicans is dubious at best.

Another thing about the Democrat legislation, Holder
tried to do this by decree but was informed by the NRA
that they would file suit when the first licensed gun
dealer received a letter informing them of the new
policy, calling Holder's bluff and evidenty he folded
that hand.

Now there are some legal grounds on which to munch a
bunch!!

Holder should be held in contempt of congress.

There was another program run in Texas that supplied
half again more illegal weapons than the one in Arizona.

Wisconsin's Governor Walker signed a bill allowing
concealed carry, making it the 49th state to do so.

Obama's worried that it won't be long before the
other 8 states cave in, too.
