Not really funny considering the circumstances

Well if I could actually do something it would be different, since I could olny pray for the people there, especially the students, which I did, I went on my way.
About your avatar, is that an anti-tank missile that's been around for a long time??
Whether it is the one I'm thinking about or not, a student at UT did develope the guidance system for one that our army used for over thirty years and he built the electronics for it at his parent's house in the basement on a pool table.
He put a tarp over the table and built it from scratch, after taking it to a defense contractor several times and being told just what the army wanted in the way of improvements in the performance he soon had it wihtin specifications and they bought it.
Smart guy.
stick to politics gs. Life and death are not your strong suit.
Well I'm thankful it didn't turn out like the tower sniper episode down there that happened many years ago.
Just becasue it's an intense situation I don't see the need to tense up. I would though probably if I had a child attending school there.
Unfortunately things like this happen almost daily.
Jessica Moore, an honor student, was murdered near Seton Hall this past weekend by someone who wanted to crash a party but was turned away, he then went and got a gun and came back shooting, five were shot in all but four others aren't in critical condition.
This picture doesn't really do her justice, she was a very beautiful girl, just 19.
The police have already tracked down and arrested the culprit plus the guy who supplied him the gun.
The murderer or murderers of the couple at VT in 2007 have yet to be found out.
I just had a conversation about this last weekend with my long time Vol fan friend with whom I have been watching UT games for over thirty years.
We both couldn't imagine what it would be like to have to bury a child, his stepdaughter had a school mate killed a car wreck quite recently and his son found his best friend dead.
I was aquainted with both of those killed, the guy was especially nice, about 19 and always happy and upbeat.
He and two more were riding motorcycles and he was bringing up the rear and all of a sudden they missed him and turned around and started looking and when they didn't find him right away called and all their friends came and started looking for where he must have run off the road. It just so happened that my firend's son was the one who found him.
When you read the obits and see that over 50% of the people are younger than yourself, get back to me and tell me you know about life and death than I do.
Again, I'm glad it's possibly over with and didn't turn out any worse than it did.
And remember, even if there was only one dead and the wound was self inflicted, that is some mother's son.
