It looks like AU is struggling to find a QB for their team next year. Johnson seems to be struggling still, White does not fit their scheme, and the JUCO is not the best passer. They have a FR QB coming in that could be the best option for Gus, but he will not be there until August. Looking at their Sept. schedule, they could be 1-3 or 2-2 at best out of the gate. Overall, they could be looking at a 5-7 to 7-5 record next year.

Does Gus keep his job with that?

I think Gus is going to ultimately roll with Franklin at QB.

Gus can't survive a losing season, but I also don't think he can survive 6-6 or 7-5 if he loses to Bama and UGA again.

I think he would survive with a 7-5 record. They have a brutal schedule and they would likely have to upset somebody to get to 7-5. Worse than that, and all bets are off I think. Especiallt if they get blown out by Bama in Tuscaloosa I think it's curtains for Gustav. They have seriously regressed since his first great year there.
