Heard a 20 second radio interview from one of these people on the local radio. She was staying at a local church, that is not a government entity for those of you unsure. Anyway, she was complaining because she had not received her government issued Wal Mart gift cards yet. Unreal. Maybe Obama can activate those millions of supporters that are at his fingertips via email to get this moving for this woman?

I loved Obama's offer to mobilize the troops though, so noble. Did he realize the MDA telethon was going on about the same time? He going to mobilize the troops for them too? Guess not. I guess there is a difference. The disease afflicted had no choice in their situation and also probably don't make up much of a voting block.

While I agree that this woman is ridiculous maybe you should note that it was Bush and the Republican congress that was in power when the Katrina gift cards were given out.

Note it all you want, does not bother me. Dems in control now and it is still happening. Just like all hand outs, once they start they're never ended. Besides, we all know Bush hated those people. In fact, he hated them so much that on top of sending a hurricane after them he followed that up with an incentive to visit Wal Mart. Horrible.
