November 5th is Guy Fawkes day.
interesting reference to hedges in this rhyme.

Don't you Remember,
The Fifth of November,
'Twas Gunpowder Treason Day,
I let off my gun,
And made'em all run.
And Stole all their Bonfire away.
The fifth of November, since I can remember,
Was Guy Faux, Poke him in the eye,
Shove him up the chimney-pot, and there let him die.
A stick and a stake, for King George's sake,
If you don't give me one, I'll take two,
The better for me, and the worse for you,
Ricket-a-racket your hedges shall go.

Gunpowder Plot explained: What is bonfire night and why do we celebrate it with fireworks? Guy Fawkes Night 2022

I guess this is the equivalent of the 4th of July for the Brits.

A rope a rope to hang the Pope! A pint of beer to wash it down. God save the king hooray….? Can’t remember the rest but will soon look it up

Shape of the poem is a rough state of Georgia outline. Poetic!

This is a sign from the football gods, handed down, generation after generation. The true meaning of the failed gunpowder plot can now be known! Soon Volnation, soon! The hedges will burn!

Without reading the article. He attempted to blow up the British Parliament... Almost succeed.. But ultimately failed.

Sounds like Georgia is the team that has a Vendetta.
Apparently they are not happy about being ranked #3 for beating Oregon in the first week of the season.
