Guys our season rests on the Kentucky and Vanderbilt games

Some of you fans get lost in hopeless optimism. Can we win out? Sure. Is it probable? No. Probability is that we win 2 more games. Anything over is a win, anything under is a loss. Just like we can win out, we can also lose out. If you think we can't be beat by Vandy, you're wrong. Is it probable? No. Is it possible? Yes. 6 wins was always the goal and still is.

why are we a 14 point dog to mizzou? I could see maybe 7 or 10

Because we beat USCe at home and they didn't. lol

Maybe they are hedging on true freshman QB being backed up by a true freshman QB. Maybe they don't know how special these kids are.

Maybe the person setting the points line got his bell rung by Maybin!

Most of all they are 7-1 and we are 4-4.

I just can't see 6-6 as a very good season. Sorry.

With the team Butch took over I think it is. We have a QB who had started how many games in the SEC? Now we have a true freshman leading the way. I only wish Butch was here a year ago when we had a few play makers on this team.

I agree with the OP. I would be over the moon if we made a bowl. It would make my sports year.

Think about it, 6-6 with a bowl win we are 7-6. Heck going to a bowl and losing is still better than going 5-7. At the Spring way I said there was no way this team would win 5 games, look what we're doing now. We've put ourselves into a position to win 8-9 games this year. That's incredible! We are starting our 3rd QB on Saturday and we are still 4-4 with a whole new coaching staff, new offense/defense, and young, inexperienced players. Incredible!

After reading the responding posts, it's sad that some are setting the bar so low. A good season is 9-4 or 10-4. Somewhere around there. We haven't seen that in 6-7 years. And to many at that time, that wasn't good enough. I won't accept less at this time.

If you can't contribute something intelligent or entertaining to the why do you waste our time and bandwidth.

Get bent! Ha UK and Candy stink. I said set the bar higher which means our season does not hang on these two bottom dwellers. We can beat Auburn and Missouri! Go freak'n Vols!!!

We are not setting the bar Mabel. It doesn't matter a bit what you accept or demand. What are you going to do if we go 6-6 or 5-7? Fire the coach? Kick the players out of school?

I expect more from someone who is being so well paid to do a job. If we end up 6-6 or worse, I don't see the ROI.

If this was true, you wouldn't be a fan. Get out. Coaches get paid to coach not work miracles. If you can't see improvement your not watching. If you can't see the SEC being stronger as a whole, games being tougher as a whole, then you haven't been watching very long. If you have had this idea in the past, then you shouldn't still be around because the last 5 years haven't met your standards. Be a bandwagon fan and jump on Bama or Oregon or Florida State this year.

This has to be someone under the age of 15.

Really? So, you're still reading though. If you're happy with a losing season, good for you. I'm not. Sorry that my expectations are a bit higher than some.:hi:

I expect to win the National Championship. But if your expectations are not met, what are you going to do? Pee in CBJ's soup? Scream until you are hoarse? Throw a hissy fit? Moon the players as they run through the T?

WHAT????????????????????
