Guys our season rests on the Kentucky and Vanderbilt games

Curious to what this means.

It means we need some mo going into the barn game. After last week this team Ned confidence and that is why it's a must win. Otherwise, we could easily be 4-6 playing vandy. Not a good situation to be in.

I expect to win the National Championship. But if your expectations are not met, what are you going to do? Pee in CBJ's soup? Scream until you are hoarse? Throw a hissy fit? Moon the players as they run through the T?

WHAT????????????????????

No, I have no issue with anyone playing their heart out in a Vol uniform. I will always cheer for any of them and not bash a one of them. Like many fans, I'm looking for some positive results after the past 6 years. The money is being spent but we're not getting good results. We continue to be mediocre, at best.

Anything less than 6-6 is a failure. 7-5 is a good season. 8-4 outstanding. 6-6 um kiss ur sister and go play in the dump bowl in bham.

If this was true, you wouldn't be a fan. Get out. Coaches get paid to coach not work miracles. If you can't see improvement your not watching. If you can't see the SEC being stronger as a whole, games being tougher as a whole, then you haven't been watching very long. If you have had this idea in the past, then you shouldn't still be around because the last 5 years haven't met your standards. Be a bandwagon fan and jump on Bama or Oregon or Florida State this year.

This has to be someone under the age of 15.

I've most likely been a fan longer than you've been alive. I've been through the bad times and the good times. I was at the NC game in Arizona. If we finish 6-6 or worse, I don't see the improvement. If you can't see a hard core fan that desperately wants to see a winning team on the field, I don't know what to say.

Who's not mediocre according to your standards?? Bama. That's it. Georgia, South Carolina, Mizzou (wasn't good last year), LSU, Auburn, Texas AM... all these teams lost games they weren't supposed to. If your expectations are BSC bowl or SEC championship or bust, be realistic because there's one team above "mediocre."

You're the classic white/black fan who can't look past the wins and loss column regardless of any other factors. You can't decipher things that go on during a game. You can't critically think about specific situations. Got it.

Mediocre is 6-6, did you not understand my post? I don't care what any other team's W/L record is. I care what ours is. And, it's not looking good at this point. We still have games to play, so I'm hoping it improves significantly.

We've been shown, via post and some media, of improvements under the last two coaches. None of which reflected any improvement in the bottom line of wins and loses. If you want to accept the dog and pony shows being presented, so be it. After the last two coaches failures, I'm a bit on edge regarding what is actually going on. Improvements should reflect in the win/loss column. I don't see that.

Then quit wasting your time. If you can't see any improvement under Butch, just quit. Apparently, you're on the breaking point of your way or the highway. The fan base will sustain without you. By the way, who did you expect to beat that we haven't? Win in the swamp with Peterman? You expect to beat Georgia as double digit underdog? You expect to beat Bama?

Yep, the SC win was awesome and a win over Missouri or AU would be awesome too but these games will not break our season. A 6-6 season with a win over SC with the way our schedule has gotten much tougher would be a very good season, anything above that would be outstanding imo.

Yup that is what I hoped for going into this Season. Getting back to a Bowl is a HUGE deal. Its been nearly 3 years since we've had a Post Season. Thats to damn long for us.

Sad how low expectations have sunk. There are no more gimmes on our schedule, but we've played in three of the toughest venues in college football, so Mizzou and AU will be difficult, but not an automatic L. A lot of fans will be disappointed with 6-6 and think we left a winnable game on the table.

I said 5 wins he underachieves slightly, 6 wins he did what I expected, 7 or more he somewhat over achieved for me. Happy with what I can get considering the recent years.

I expect someone taking the job with a big salary to make some noise. Hasn't happened yet. As I've said before, if you accept mediocre results after all these years, fine. Your continuance in trying to marginalize me is quite annoying. Might want to try a different approach.

I think you need a different approach. I guess you can hop back on when the Vols win 9 or 10 games.

You realize we seriously regressed under Dooley right? How big the SC win was? Look at the recruiting class coming in. This year was always gonna be a wash at best because we lost so much on O and returned primarily the worst UT defense of all time.

I know what you're saying, but you gotta wait just a little longer. I'm sick of it too trust me

As I've said before, I'm sill in it. Never left it. Just not willing to accept what has been going on for the past 5-6 years and seems to be continuing. I've been a fan for the past 50 years, just ready for some positive results. I don't don't know what else to say for anyone accepting poor results at this time. We are long overdue to return to prominence.

We've all waited for 6 years or so. I don't see it coming at this time. The SC win was awesome. We came so close with the Georgia game, too. I would love to see this team win the Mizz game. That would be a great accomplishment this season.

I understand all that you are saying but EXCUSE ME IF I DON'T GIVE UP ON THE Missouri and Auburn games at least until they are played.

I agree with that. Would be great to knock off both of those. I think we might have the horses to do it. Would love to see everything come together to bring home those two wins.

If you can't see significant improvement this year, you need to see your local optometrist.

Correct me if im wrong but I thought the ap game wouldn't count because of their classification. If thats so we would have to win 3:4 but im confident in our team and coach!
