No they aren't. Their depth chart is public and their WR corps is pretty similar in size to UT's. UT's WR's are MORE athletic on the whole than theirs though Washington is pretty speedy.Their top 4 receivers are all 6'4" or taller,
DGB has been somewhat of a disappointment to this point. He has failed to learn how to use his athleticism and size to make plays on a consistent basis.and very athletic (I believe one was the #1 WR in his class),
Really? Franklin was having a very good season prior to his injury. I expect to see him this Saturday night in relief of Mauk.and we all know they have two QB's who are very capable, to say the least.
Mauk has hit a couple of "lucky" passes that have inflated his yardage. He completes under 50% so far and has two INT's to go with 2 TD's.
While he is mobile, he has not run. Part of that is because they do not have a good back up.
ONLY if UT's OL is poorly coached or fails to execute what they learn from film study vs Mizzou. Again, this is MU's system on D vs UT's talent.Regarding the experience comment, that's true, but you have to remember that even though we're 8 games into the season, our QB only has 2 quarters of experience. I have confidence in Dobbs, but don't be surprised if he makes some rookie mistakes. He's going to be facing a pretty nasty pass rush from Mizzou.
The O-line and receivers need to step up and make sure they're on their A-game with blitz pick ups and hot routes.
There are always risks with young players but Dobbs' intelligence and cool should serve the Vols better than avg. He needs to do enough to keep them off balance so that UT's big OL can lean on Mizzou's DL for awhile.
