Tennessee has always faired poorly against the Big 10, particularly in tournaments.

That said, the people calling for Barnes' head just go to show that whenever I think Vol fans have reached peak dumb*ss, they prove me wrong.

As to the game, Michigan took Santi out of the game and it killed the Vols. Plavsic had easily his best game but couldn't guard a goon that could shoot the 3 ball. Chandler got virtually no help from anyone else.

Finally, upon further review, I would take a 2-and-done in the NCAA as a trade for the SEC tourney title.

Agree with you 100%. I’ve had a pit in my stomach all day as I knew the team wouldn’t keep up the same shooting pace. Plus our record against BIG10 is not good. If we got past this team I truly believe we would have been in the F4. Oh well.

I think what I am happiest about at this point is the emergence of JJJ the last half dozen games or so. He will be a huge force next year for this team!

Sucks but it is what it is and that’s why I stayed in today to watch this versus go to my local spots. That pit was pretty annoying. I hate it when that little pit is right.

When I saw Vegas had us -6.5 and the 85% of the public bet was on UT—that rattled my contrarian mind. I was pulling for Colorado St hard to beat MI bc I’ve watched MI 2x this year and I knew they had the horses to beat us if they played a good game. They started the year top ten and there’s a lot of talent on that roster. Sucks but it should not overshadow what a great season we had this year. GBO 🍊

Barnes is what he is. Hell never win a championship and at this point yheh aren't going to find better. Barnes is frustrating as heck. Last year two first round picks and loses to a 12 seed. This year loses to an 11 seed. Whats most frustrating to me is santi struggled but they really didn't run much to get him free. Reminded me of the Arkansas game all over

We just couldn't hit shots. Even with their circus hook shot at the end and Fulky being out sized we still could have won through all of it. But we couldn't hit our 3's. Hit 2 more and we're in it. Hit our avg and we win. We had open looks. Just missed em.

Michigan was preseason top 10, correct?

I posted earlier that I was nervous, and my intuition was correct, sadly. Love all of our guys, coaches, and support staff. It’s a lot of work to do this college hoops thing well, and they did it, despite coming up short in the NCAAT. VFL.
