I just got in and haven't watched the game yet, but have looked at the stat sheets and also fan reactions.

On one of the NBA shows the other night, Jon Barry was on there talking about how pathetic players at the end of the game play now a days after the timeout for the final game. He said it is a huge problem in the NBA and also in college. His view was that for some reason whoever the person that has the ball just tries to run an isolation set where everyone else is nowhere involved, and it's a one man game for the final play.

We have always prided ourselves on the fact that when Bruce calls a timeout during the game that we are going to score. It has been one of his strengths. However, the late game situation has been horrid. All coaches discuss what they want to do, but they have always discussed secondary options if the player they want to have the ball gets double teamed or taken out of the play.

So what is it with the NBA and College now?

Do they panic on the final possession?
Do they want to be the one that is the hero?

It just makes no sense that even great coaches in the NBA have players that cannot execute the plan after a called timeout on the final possession.

We did not call a TO for the final play.

But it was the same-old drubbed up BS of this current season.... being that no great opportunity at a shot was ever put up.
