Sure its been discussed plenty of times but with Williams a no go, Hall will probably get the start? Either way, Fields should see some minutes tomorow so I'm really hoping he redeems him self and gets out of the dog house. When the season first started, i loved watching Fields play and was excited to see him grow as the season went on. He did the exact opposite so Im hoping tomorrow is his big break out game!! (Better late, then never I guess)

Fields will get the majority of time because of his defense. It will be nice to see if Hall can bring his game given more minutes.

aside from Fields getting more time, tomorrow will be a preview of our post play next year. should be interesting, at best.

"Pearl said freshman Tobias Harris will slide over to the center position when Maymon enters the game at power forward"

Oh, I wasn't disputing what you said about the Vandy game. I was just saying that seems really stupid to me. :hi:

That's crazy, imo. Maymon's much more suited to play the 5.

The only reason it would make sense is Harris is a bit taller than Maymon and may be able to defend big men better. But then it wouldn't really put Harris in a position to score so I don't really know the reasoning behind it.

Judging by what Harris has done guarding bigger players this year, if Maymon is worse than that, he would have to just be utterly pathetic.

Neither of them are true centers, but I'd agree that Maymon is a lot better suited to play the position. Regardless, Maymon needs to learn his role on this team. He looks to score way too often as if he's got something prove. His strength is grabbing rebounds and I wish he stuck to that.

IMO Fields and Hall won't be out there much because they foul like crazy. We'll be lucky if they don't foul out in about 5 minutes. However, since there really isn't anyone else, maybe they can hang in there just long enough.

I like maymon at the 5, with that bigger frame. Harris does have the hieght advantage though.

Fields will start. Hopefully Hall will get some extra minutes and doesn't commit 5 fouls in 3 minutes.
