I went to the ND game on a charter train from Chicago.

I was very impressed with the turn-out of the Volunteer Nation :post-20645-1119625378:

Hamilton rode the train back with us which was interesting. I give him credit for coming out after the loss and visiting with fans that had made the trip.

Also, it was a bold move since we were on the train for about 3 hours and many disgruntled fans were drinking heavily. Fortunately there were no incidents, although a few fans couldn't resist expressing their opinions about the season, Fulmer, etc.

I will say he looked like a guy that was worn out. I guess I would look that way under the circumstances too.

Something has to happen. The present state of affairs is just not acceptable.

What has to happen? Not sure. But it HAS to happen, whatever it is!

I didn't know that any Vols were there. NBC made it their lifes mission to block out the orange. I didn't see ONE fan in the stands wearing orange.

I guess the corner that you all sat in was the corner you couldn't ever see on any of NBC's shots. I hate the Notre Dame network. :realmad:

Really? That's strange then. I didn't see any orange. Guess I wasn't paying attention everytime they showed our fans.

The Volnation was in the corner and endzone opposite of the ND student section. Most of the upper deck was orange and got quite loud at times - ND fans were often looking up there in amazment as the crowd sang Rocky Top.

:eek:k: I watched the game and I didn't see any shots of orange. I did like the commentator Pat Hadden (former USC QB), he really gave some positive talk about the Vols and their problems. :post-20645-1119625378:
