Hamilton out of patience

That's a relief.

At this point, I'm looking at it as an opportunity for somebody, or somebodies. Hopefully they'll step up when given the chance.

He will regret he ever made that statement, because you cannot just dismiss kids and "work our way back" you have to make sure they are guilty of what they have been charged with[ ala Janzen Jackson ].

I like his attitude about this, but I think he's asking it for it with "start with dismissal" comment.

Good for Hammy, though, for being progressive and true to the reputation of the school.

They all four admitted to knowing the gun was in the car. You certainly can dismiss them from the team if you have the guts to do it.

Nevermind i forgot some around here actually think he's good for UT. I'll just retract my statement and let you keep that feel good feeling.

That certainly sounds like little more than a copout. Thanks for your time.

You could, but they would have been denied due process and if later found innocent it would both be unfair and potentially set you up for a lawsuit IMO.

I've had this conversation before. I don't have all night to explain. It's about the football program and how it has done a belly flop since he's been here.

They aren't entitled to be on the team, they earn that. Scholarships are another story.

Sounds pretty flawed since the main person responsible for that is Fulmer.

I can see both side of the agrument, but I think the punishment MUST FIT THE CRIME and the crime is decided by the courts either by a judge or jury not by the AD, Coaches, boosters or fans. I think suspend them until the court decides and then if found guilty out the door you go. I know the court system is slow to act but that should be the process followed and if you don't want to wait the process then..... I truly believe both CBP and CLK have taken this road.

Hamilton's losing patience, well good. Me too, not that it matters. Maybe it's about time the men let Pat Summit dole out the punishment.
